I'm rating this - barely - 3 stars, largely because the story caught my interest somehow. However:

: Runon sentences: too much use of the word "and" or commas.

: Punctuation: Seriously, I'm wondering if the author's reading sports magss or just cut English class. Commas misplaced, moreso not there. Many quotation marks missing (one sided), leading me to think the same person's talking instead of another. Some spelling mistakes or words missing; though not use, it told me JPB wrote this story & didn't bother proof reading it or having another a proof reader. Having said all that, I've read other of JPB's stories & were written much better all around - even the few that I didn't like.

: Repetition: "I'm out of the house & I see no reason to go back there." This runs throughout. Once the person speaking, etc., is noted, no sense of repetition like in the example.

: With the lawyer: Rob wants a restraining order against Barbara, saying he fears for his life. Almost the next sentence, he says after he leaves, he'll drop it & there won't be any hearing. The lawyer just seems to accept that without question. I know this's fiction, but the better fiction has the element of believability to it.

: Barb & Jeff - OK, she knew him before her hubby who's lacking in bed. As Rob pointed out, why the fuck didn't she say something so he could hopefully do something? Probable reason: she's a slut for Jeff & didn't, in reality, want to give him up. The bitch wanted both men, so she kept quiet. Didn't want to hurt Rob? Didn't affect him? In what world, unless you're married to a wimp or cuck, would a husband be OK with his wife fucking anybody else? Her betrayal & yes, disrespect, won't create an emotional disturbance in her husband?

Hell froze over ten years ago and I didn't even notice. I know it did, because one of JPB's characters actually divorced his cheating whore of a wife. There is no other explanation for it.
