Click hereShe'd fallen in love that day, gained an amazing father-in-law who would do anything for her, and now she had the beautiful child she'd always wanted. There was also a very nice home she loved, but it paled in comparison with the love she'd found thanks to one tiny little mole that had torn up her yard.
Now, anytime she saw Chris watching the PGA tour on TV she smiled at the mention of a divot as she recalled the 'divots' in her lawn that had brought them together and given them the most beautiful little girl ever. Doubts and trials aside, it was truly a very wonderful life.
A clean lab favours a controlled, specifically targeted outcome. A dirty lab, by contrast, favours a plethora of possible outcomes, improving chances one of them will be seemingly exceptional: a replicatimg molecule.
After that, evolution means a replicating entity will change over time and the most viable process is the one that will multiply (replicate) most.
Of course it's stunning that it happened here, but given the fact the universes have existed for billions of years, and at least some estimated 10x -80 (a one with eighty zero's in tow) atoms exist, the chances a life like process will eventually be among the outcomes, in an infinite number of places, are infinitely close to a 100%.
So, the dirtier the lab the sooner, but with a lab this big, it will inevitably happen at some point, if only because it can. Simple math.
Decent story, though it had me back at college listening to a lecture and trying not to fall asleep.
Not a bad story...as expected...but the growth of the storyline got lost in the weeds of his beliefs...TMI.
Loved the conversations on the origins of life on the planet, and the possibilities/plausibilities of a God. Loved the romanticism of the plot line. However, you missed a couple of outstanding opportunities for some really hot, steamy sex scenes!
Yes, Komrad is preaching within the context of a love story. I am not amazed that Komrad is a pretty good preacher, too. I knew next to nothing about his subjects, but it was interesting and well presented. No complaints and my standard (it is, after all, Komrad) five star applause.
THANKS
Great story, depth, humor, romance and handling a delicate subject with respect and dignity. Well done indeed, Marine. Only nit I can find is why is this dude an Air Force jockey instead of one of one of our Navy or Marine Air compodries? I said it was a nit! 😉
You keep writing them the way you like and I'll keep reading them. If I find one I don't like I won't read it and move along and find something else more palatable. Ooo-Rah and anchors aweigh!
Cheers
