I really enjoyed reading the story. It was sad in the beginning and kind of awkward, but the loving , caring, loss of a loved one. As a romantic and one who has no problem with mutually consensual incest in real life, the characters were fully developed. Based on her psychiatric treatment history, psychological state, and her issues with id, ego, self-awareness, and self-assurance, she knew her son loved her unconditional. Foir her to emotionally survive her husband's death and to live any type of life other than one of emotional and social confinement, she knew she had to have the safetyt, security, and depth of love only herson could provide. Although little mentioned in this story, the husband understood his wife's emotional, psychological and physical needs and knew only his son could meet her needs.
He logically developed his plan of action and knew, both mental and psychological, that his plan had to work and would work. Finally, once the son recognized and accepted his mother as a human woman instead of just his mother, recognized the depth of his love for his father and mother, and accepted the fact that love has no boundaries nor limits only humans do, he willingly accept her love. 5 star story.

You write some fabulous stories, and this one is no exception. Wonderful! I have to ask an important favor, however. Please, please learn the difference between “to”, “too”, and “two”. Every time you occasionally use the wrong word, which occurs in virtually all of your stories, it zaps me instantly away from the rapture and disappoints. I would later find another who i thought would end up being my wife but we drifted apart and even later tried to reconnect but as she had been hurt and damaged becoming a covert narcissist and suffered from major depression to the point, she is on 400 mg of anti-depressants a day as she was what Cythnia would have become had the father not convinced her to be with the son. Ironically the Ex girlfriend /fiancé was so hurt and damaged she had become the slut that had all her self worth tied to her abilities in bed; and I shook her world the night i turned her into a squirter and she had a breakdown of immense shame and couldn't look me in the face. This was my second time as well, just like MadDoginTexas. I also went back and read comments... till I found my own from before. It's funny I did the exact same thing I did the first time (pausing at page 5 and skimming after page 6) and I still stand by ALL of what I wrote the first time. LC is a great writer and this story is really no exception, it's just not for me. Blackmail, coercion, manipulation, and so on do not a romance make. This story is very similar to The Love left Behind by Ahabscribe. I don't know if you copied it, we're heavily influenced by it, or it's just pure coincidence that the storylines are so similar. I will say that you are a better writer, but I didn't like how Cynthia and Kenny forced Jason.

This is NOT the first of this author's stories I have read, nor will it be the last.
There is quite a lot of thought put into the plots; yeah, you say Jason was "coerced", or ,guilt-tripped" into this relationship. However, be honest with ourselves...most of us, in a similar situation, would have at least some of the same hesitations spoken here! Just like killing another human being is "not natural", lovecraft68 delves into that dark side of our sexual desires, and makes introspection "uncomfortable" for some.
So, judgmental comments should not be posted here; say you "like" or "don't like" the story and go on, and post positive things to encourage the author.

I can’t put better than this: I totally agree with Fuzzy-kbear.
This wasn’t a love story, the parents more or less repeated what had happened to to mother, a shame really, since I usually love the work off lovecraft68.
I love the romantic incest stories. This is not one. The degree of manipulation, coercion, molestation, and brain washing leaves no room for romantic love in this story. By the end of page 5 I felt nothing but sorrow for poor Jason. I had to stop reading (for a moment) many times during "the build up" because of the lack of caring for the son these parents pretend to love. After the dad's final guilt trip/brain washing at the beginning of page 6 before Jason finally gave in to the onslaught of coercion and manipulation I couldn't finish this. I skimmed the rest until the ending and in reading the final couple of paragraphs that was supposed to be the happily ever after I still only felt sorry for Jason. I usually love this Author's work but should be under nonconsent/reluctance category not incest and no way it should have been tagged incest romance which is how I found it. I think lovecraft68 is a great writer, this is just not the story I was hoping it to be.

You wrote this a couple of years ago, I can't imagine when I'm through with your Portfolio here and come to more recent Stories of yours. How your writing and thought process has developed over the Years. Even though in my Opinion, your writing here is already near perfection. As a read I want to immerse myself in the world of the Story (yes even though its romantic, erotic literature, supposed to be sex/sexual and all) and you can achieve that somehow so easily (at least with me).
I couldn't think of a thing I could criticise, except some grammatical or word errors.

Good thought and one I either missed or didn't think I needed the detail. Wrote this 7 years ago so I can't recall my mind state back then LOL.
But here goes. The boirth certificate would not have Jason as the father, but Jason's father. He gave his wife 'something to remember him by" in the form of another child. As the baby grows older he would be told Jason was his step father, but of course his real father died before he was born. A bit of disservice to Jason, but one that would avoid any trouble the likes of which you're suggesting.
Not a perfect answer, but the story itself is pretty implausible so...why not?
I really liked it, 2nd read too ---- but the writer missed a strategic change that was stated but not acted upon. Once the coitus line was crossed between Cyn and Jason I was surprised Jason remained referring to Cyn as 'mom'. I know the story stated they never knew when Jason changed to Cynthia, but for story continuity and what his father requested to use only Cynthia is missed, it is a small plot hole.
Now for a non-story technical issue of the coming newborn. How will the newborn birth certificate read for parents (without becoming a written admission of the incest - by names/ages)? True, they both have the same last name but there is no marriage certificate to those names (leave off the fathers name on the birth certificate). Then there is how taxes are filed (singles can't do joint - legally, traceable by SSN's) and what will happen when the newborn starts school and some snoop does a record check (or solve by home-schooling)?
I'm not against 'consenting adult incest' it is just that societal religion-based laws make it very difficult due to a willingness to punish no matter how consenting - all to appease a naive religious paradigm.

First off, I love most of Lovecraft68's mom-son incest stories. But I just couldn't feel sympathetic toward the mom at all. Usually I would be so anxious to get to hot sex scene but I noticed myself just skimming through it just to get to the end of the story. Obvious what the ending already was but I read on in hopes for a bad ending for MC's mom. I just felt MC's mom was selfish horny slut desiring nothing more than any cock. If she didn't have the fear for men, she wouldn't have cared which cock to satisfy her libido.
Also what really bothered me is that, supposed deep love for husband/father from wife and son. If that is the case, how can you be thinking sex when husband/father is literally dying in front of them. Granted, his son fought it but his horny mother was just looking for a cock. What draws me to mon/son incest fantasy stories is that the deep underlying love between them makes lust/sex hotter. But, this story just didn't convey that love from MC's mom.
Perhaps, if story expanded or also showed POV from MC's mom then readers could have developed sympathy for her. Without it, she was just a horny woman afraid of not getting any cock after her husband's death.

Nice to see that it has an ending that showed the aftermath, I was kinda worried that the story would end at the vacation, and not show what happened after the father died.

One thing I would STRONGLY STRONGLY STRONGLY suggest is that you edit in a washcloth/shower/something scene, right after the anal scene. This was absolutely beautiful. I love incest themed stories but they usually lack true emotion and realism. This story seemed so real, so beautiful and yet so sad. I teared up many times reading this, hoping he would be able to provide for his mom the way she needed and yet I could completely understand why he was so hesitant. Exceptional job on this story!
Having previously read this story on 03/03/2013 and 06/29/2013 and now for the third time, fully and slowly, over several days, I find this story elegant and beautiful. There are now 133 (134 with my) reader's comments of every conceiveable opinion imaginable; I agree with all comments that have something positive to say! Those Anonymous reader's comments that had very bad, nasty comments--even after the warnings of the stories' intent and incestual topic--must have mush or hog-slop for brains, and obviously never educated, having over and over definitely failed English language comprehension!!!
My comments about Jason on 06/29/2013 were overly harsh, and I must apologize to 'lovecraft68' for my overly aggressive treatment of Jason. Although, he was of legal age, a twenty-one year old college Junior, he could have moved out, moved on and/or emphatically said "...no, N-O, mom and dad, I love you but, NO, NO, NO..." He did not move out nor move on nor refused sufficiently to make his father believe he, Kenny, could not eventually win his son Jason over to his side in memorium!! If I were in the same situation as Kenny, with a younger wife similar to Cynthia, and an adolescent early twenties son, I would do the same thing to assure, as much as possible, my deceased wife's happiness, comfort, emotional and sexual stability and even her livelihood!! Further, had my father ever wished the same from me for my mother's comfort and emotional and sexual endurance, I would have very possibly conceded to his wishes!
Your spell-checker, 'lovecraft68', is not dependable for using the correct word within the CORRECT context. There many words, such as "here vs hear", "their vs they're", "were vs we're", etc., etc., that are spelled correctly but used incorrectly, There are also three to four words missing, which the reader can discern by reading the sentence(s) a couple times.
Otherwise, the story is top-shelf, an epic and masterful in context and theme! I've cared enough to read the very best, three times, and I'm awed by the emotions and feelings--as written exceptionally by the author--the character's display through their roles as Son, Mother and Father.
This really is one of the better stories I've read on this site. Definite 5+ stars. You know it's a good story when you see all the really good authors commenting on it.

This was a very believable story, I can understand the son's difficulty in coming to terms; I can also understand why the father felt the way he did. And, I can understand the woman's point of view (as much as any man can understand a woman, that is). At first, I thought, no this is too wrong, but as I read more, I really felt I understood the point the writer was discussing.

It all sounds so real and contrary to what a couple of readers said about the reluctant son. I disagree with the most recent anonymous comment: Sons raised in the proper (according to society) way could go through the exact moral dilemma portrayed in this story. To me, it felt real.
I pretty much have to agree with a lot of what bigdaddyg123 wrote earlier. Once Jason had a green light from both parents, and even had Cynthia making the first moves in bed, it was just beyond belief that he'd still resist her so strongly. We knew he was aroused and curious all along so it's not a case of him finding the idea repulsive. That he'd object on some unknown strong grounds was never given any solid reasoning.
I won't say I stopped reading then, but, I did start skimming a fair bit over the text at the point where he failed to consummate once she had touched his erection. The old saying "a stiff dick has no conscience" came to mind. When he left the bedroom like some frightened virgin in a Gothic romance, it was too hard to buy into Jason as a realistic guy anymore. Once they had mutually sampled each others sticky parts, the taboo line was already seriously crossed.
Whatever psychological point was meant to be made, the whole story fell into farce there. Overall, I like what you're doing in the category but the devil is in the details I guess, so I nitpick where the tapestry has a fatal flaw. Kudos on inverting the usual cuckold angle quite brilliantly though. That was very inspired writing. Perhaps you will take another stab with a similar situation where a departing father endows his son with responsibility for his own mother's satisfaction in every sense.

Initially, I thought this was very bizarre and I questioned the validity of the situation. Pending death from something as nasty as cancer is far from erotic or sexually arousing. You incorporated that into and, more-or-less, centered the story around that fact very well. I felt that what turned that impression was the masterful description and the mental image painted of Cynthia.
The father, Kenny, was such a kind man with a single goal of seeing to it the love of his life was happy after he was gone and the logic employed made sense, albeit somewhat selfish. Were either of them considering their son's wishes for a "normal" life?
The son was portrayed very well as a confused young man bearing the knowledge of his fathers death and confronted with his parents desire for a lifelong relationship with the mother, an incestual relationship he was not prepared for. This was a great story, masterfully presented, and one of the most enjoyable I have read.

You did a great job with this story and several times I must have gotten a speck of dust in my eyes as they watered. I'm not sure I could have held back as long as Jason did, even with the guilty feelings though if my father had been sitting there I'd probably have wilted.

It obeys what I think is a cardinal rule of good erotica; the sex is part of a bigger story, a story that could stand by itself without the sex. I just don't get some of the criticisms of this story, particularly about Jason. If you're simply reading this as a stroke story, forget it. This is so much better. IMHO, Jason is shown as a concerned, moral young man thrown into a desperate decision by circumstances completely outside his control. But, most importantly, love (real love) triumphs. Apart from one or two minor editorial glitches, you can't ask for much more 5.0 all the way - more if we were allowed to!
The story is taboo but good at the end with a new baby with the same DNA as mom,son, and dad, as Dad could no longer give his wife a baby at least his son could. Hope the baby is all right as some children born out of incest could have problems,not always. My sister by mistake got pregnant and then married a guy who had the same last name as my mother's maiden name, well they fould out later they were related a couple of generations back but they had 2 girls alway. The older girl developed mental problems after she reached her teenage years, and now is in a group home after she had to be hospitalized. Her younger sister has a teenage son who is having the same mental problems so he is not fully sane. It happens but time will tell if they can survive.

On March 03, 2013 I read this story with baited breath, astoundingly in love with it. This evening, I have read through page 4 and a few lines of page 5...and stopped reading!!! The reason???
Everyone at some time gets an itch. Some times they have "the itch" but they have no idea where even "the itch" is located. When I first read the full story in March I had the feeling there was "the itch" but couldn't pin it down, or if there actually was an itch! Anyway when I started rereading the story again today there was deja vu...all over again (as an all-time great New York Yankee's coach was famous for saying)! It started creeping into my being, somewhere, slowly, silently and covertly. As I continued to read, "the itch" began to solidify and emerge! By the time I started to read page 5, it hit me right between the eyes.
It sudedently occurred to me Jason was giving the impression he was fighting the desires of his father, and--even with his now-agreeable mother--to honor his dad's wishes, after his impending death, to not only love his mother as a woman but to bed her in whatever stutty way and fashion she wanted. That's the impression Jason was giving (as his character was written to act and imply). In my mind, early-on Jason was only making timid denials to bed his mother, not ever making galant efforts to just say NO. As an example, each time be would almost call his mother "Mom" she would stop him from muttering the word, and say "Cynthia" FOR him! If only a few times he would have come back at her and blurted out "MOM" (instead of allowing her correction input of "Cynthia" always to be the final word), all his denials would have had more credibility, at least for my interpretation of his wimpy and lackadaisical denials
For me as with most reader's of incest stories, though we realize they are fiction, we still look for signs of believeability. With Jason's wimpy limpy denials I could never find any believebility in Jason's always timid denials to his father, and especially to his mother after she put the carnal sexual moves on him!! When the story lost the reality effect to me, I lost interest in reading again the last four pages .
The fact I didn't finish rereading the story does not detract from the fact the story is very well constructed, yet does have some editing issues. The characters are very lovely people, have a deep faith and love for each other (which I absolutely love and adore!!!). The subject matter, and the theme, are awesome, very idealistic and surely unique!. Lovecraft68, you want comments and some with constructive criticism, I hope I have given you an insight to making your stories even more masterful. This story overall, does ROCK; it's just that Jason's efforts to deny bedding his mother had a hole--believeability--in the bucket.
This is a touching story even to a taboo subject. a deep loving husband's dying wish to taking care of and feared for his loving wife's future, it was the only way she could accept by her previous life history and finally found a solution, the safe way to protect her when he could no longer be there for her, a very beautiful sad story if the son didn't make her pregnant... other than that, a totally extraordinary and outstanding article. Thanks for this wonderful story so different from others. I gave a 5 stars to say thank you!
Lovecraft, this has to be one of the most amazing stories that I have ever read. I was brought to tears on a few of the parts in this story. This is a very touching story, and I want to thank you for posting it.
All of the characters are deeply decent, even noble people: Jason, his mom, and especially his dad. Dad wants above all for his wife to be cared for and protected, and no one is as able to do that as their own boy, Jason. But what if Jason goes off and gets married and has his own family? The answer, clearly, is for the boy to marry his own mother, if not legally, then effectively and in reality. Then Jason will inherit from his dad his most treasured possession, his own mother's precious cunt and what can issue from that cunt--another family. The boy has the stiff young prick and heavy balls to make a new family, via his mother's mommy-hole, that wonderful hole between his mother's legs that he himself was born from as a little baby. Jason shoots his creamy sperm up where his dad once shot his, to make Jason. And sure enough, mom's pregnant again, now with her own boy's baby. Jason's big hard cock and his mother's warm wet twat--united in undying love.
Brilliant, brought me to tears in parts, only wish you could somehow extend this story and we could learn what their life truly ends up like.
